Dale Bible Church: In 1987 the Townsend Bible Church in Paradise, Indiana assisted Pastor Jim Thompson, his wife Pam and a few faithful families from the Dale area in organizing and planting the Dale Bible Church. The new church held their first Bible study class at a local nursing home, then eventually was able to re-locate to a storefront building on U.S. 231 in Dale. In the spring of 1988 the church began meeting on Sunday morning then later was able to add Sunday and Wednesday evening services. As the church began to grow it was realized that a new facility would soon be needed. In July of 1994 the church had a dedication service in their new building located at 300 East Vine Street in Dale, giving God all the glory for His continued provisions and blessings. God has been very faithful.
